Australia Itinerary

When they call Australia ‘Down Under’, I think what they’re referring to is it’s isolation from the rest of the world.  It’s pretty much far from everywhere else!  That’s why if you’re going to plan a trip to there you should make it a long one.

The country is huge so it’s best to pick an a few states to stick to.  There is a lot of choose from, city scapes, sweeping beaches, vineyards, islands, rainforests and the list goes on.  There’s even lots of options to see the native wildlife.  This itinerary stays in eastern Australia and goes along the coast.

  • Port Douglas – for rainforest, beaches & the Great Barrier Reef
  • Whitsundays – for an island escape
  • Gold Coast – for surfing & nightlife
  • Byron Bay – for more surfing & laid back vibes
  • Sydney – for city scapes
  • Blue Mountains – for hiking
  • Melbourne – for the food & art scene
  • Yarra Valley – for the wineries (especially the Shiraz)
  • Great Ocean Road – for road trippin’ & and the 12 Apostles
